Contrail 320 (Heavy Duty Board Cutter)

Fast, clean and tough Crest’s proofen board cutter concept.
Crest’s revolutionary heavy board cutters add a completely new dimension to cutting technology by making light work of cutting, trimming and scoring even the toughest of materials. Fast, accurate and clean, the machines can handle a wide range of heavy duty materials which would previously have required the use of a power saw.

Originally designed for accurate cutting of large sheets of board including Gator - foam® panels and other hardsurfaced foam sheets, the cutter is also suitable for materials with a high density such as polystyrene, foamed PVC or even acrylic and glass. Capable of cutting materials up to 30mm(1 3/16”) thick.

Dust free cutting
The cutting technology used completely eliminates the irritating dust and fumes produced by alternative cutting methods.

Advanced cutting technology
The single blade is used for soft easily cut substrates and the unique variable speed feature combined with the blade guide in the rear blade carriage enables the cutting of hard substrates.

Roll Sheet Cutter 1600/2300/3200 CI

The Cutter is designed to cut (slitting and crosswise cutting) all kind of materials, such as Paper, Foil,Polyester fabrics, Carpet, Foam, etc. , from roll to sheets, for the Sign-, and Converting industries.

The machine has a Colour Touch-Screen operating panel, and is PLC controlled.

There is one slitting system on the machine. The slitting system is with free manual adjustable knife holders. The number of placed knife holders is free to choose. The machine is standard provided with two knife-holders.

The machine is available in three working widths, 1600mm (63inch), 2300mm (90,5inch) and 3200mm (126inch) wide.

For Crosswise cutting, there are basic three process options:
• Manual positioning and cutting,
• On programmed length,
• Recognizing printed cutting marks, and cut the waste between two printed images from a roll.

The following processes can be executed:
• Slitting and cross cutting into sheets.
• Crosswise cutting (without slitting) into sheets.
• Winding from roll to roll. (option)
• Slitting into strokes from roll to roll.(option)
• Slitting the both sides (waste) from roll to roll. (option)

Roll Sheet Cutter (RSC)

The Crest Roll Sheet Cutter has been specially developed for the graphic imaging industry.
It was designed for two main operations: to cut sheets and plots from rolls.

The sheet function enables the operator to cut a roll of film or paper into a sheet, or to cut a set number of sheets in two different lengths. The following parameters can be adjusted: required number of pieces; required length of sheet A; required length of sheet B.

With the plot function plots can be cut from a roll of film or paper. To trigger the cutting process either a photocel reads a cutter mark at the front and back of each plot or a colorbar located between each plot can be used. The Crest Roll Sheet Cutter can also be used for running plots or sheets from one roll to another. During this operation the side cutters can be used to reduce the width of the processed material.

RSC specifications:

MultiWall Cutter (MWC)

The Multiwall cutter saves you time and money. The machine cuts square onto the channels in the polycarbonate multiwall sheets.
Polycarbonate multiwall sheets are no longer cut to size with a saw but with a blade. The advantage is that no swarf at all is produced during cutting. Because of this cutting principle the channels or completely free from swarf. Cleaning the channels afterwards is not necessary anymore. This technique reduces also noise nuisance to a minimum.
These features add up to a clean and relatively quiet work area - reason enough to consider the Multiwall cutter an interesting investment.
